The IDEAL Cat 6 single piece RJ-45 modular plugs are designed to simplify and improve the consistency of cable to connector termination of Cat 6 modular plugs to twisted pair cables. Anyone who has assembled traditional multi-piece Cat 6 modular plugs knows it is a time consuming and often error-prone process. This new design features wire ramps to help guide the 8 conductors into place without the need to use separate sled and liner pieces in the assembly process.
- Single piece Cat 6 connector same preparation as Cat 5e connector
- Pair twists maintained within 1/4 in to 3/8 in of pin contact
- 3 Pin IDC contact, 50μ gold plated over 150μ nickel, secured in place – no loose pins in the package
- Jacket seats past strain relief tab
- No sleds or liners needed in assembly process
- Compatible with 23 and 24 AWG conductors – Max conductor diameter of 0.041 In
